Non è un'idea orrenda, andare in giro per il mondo a sterminare colonie di zombi. Peccato per l'estrema ripetitività del gameplay, che viene un pochino attutita dalla possibilità di giocare in co-op. Il multiplayer funziona, ma non lasci a chissà che impressione di alcun tipo.

Un piccolo gioco in cui devi consegnare pacchi con dei controlli di movimento che ti fanno venire la lebbra dopo 15 minuti. Di per sé non è un'idea malvagia, non è Getting Over It almeno, ma il problema è che è solo questo. Nulla di più. Una gimmick che affascina per non oltre due orette di gioco, poi ti stanchi e passi ad altro.

Il gioco base, ma con personaggi che non hanno scopo chiaro se non ucciderti, lo stesso gameplay ripetitivo (problema del gioco originale, c'è da dire), e un sacco di elementi riciclati (sentite bene l'audio, capirete di cosa parlo).

Questo è uno dei pochi giochi che ho spolpato, al punto tale da avere tutti gli achievement possibili. Dopo averlo giocato più volte, anche a difficoltà Folle (non è così difficile, se sai cosa fare), posso dire che è un gioco ben fatto, molto atmosferico, con gore molto spinto (a volte un po' gratuito) e storytelling sottile. Peccato che lo storytelling debbano sostenere sì una lore interessante, ma una trama tutto sommato debole. E una volta che sai come si comportano i nemici, è fin troppo facile imbrogliarli. Comunque un buon debutto per la Red Barrels, senza ombra di dubbio.

Mai in vita mia un videogioco mi aveva coinvolto così tanto emotivamente. Ottima storia, gameplay solido, personaggi adorabili e una delle colonne sonore più belle, orecchiabili e versatili che abbia mai sentito in qualsiasi media (non scherzo). Magari una critica può essere mossa per come la storia è stata narrata, inserendo uno spiegone nelle parti finali del gioco. Ma per il resto, consiglio caldamente l'acquisto. Ne vale la pena.

Un'autentica sorpresa. Dalla partenza un po' lentina, si passa poi ad atmosfere tetre e d'impatto, storia intricata al punto giusto, e personaggi caratterizzati alla perfezione. Le uniche cose che non mi hanno convinto fino in fondo sono le scenografie un po' riciclate e tendenti al claustrofobico, e il gameplay a cui ci vuole il suo tempo per abituarsi (in particolar modo con l'hacking). Oltre alle due perplessità che ho, è un gioco che mi rispolvero spesso e volentieri. Non vedo l'ora di provare la versione System Redux.

Concettualmente molto interessante, ma interamente affossato dal gameplay blando e dalla narrazione stucchevole e che non lascia chissà quale impressione. Peccato, perché avevano tutte le carte in tavola per rendere il gioco inquietante ed ipnotico.

Stile grafico carino e molto gradevole, ma con un gameplay talmente ripetitivo da annoiare quasi immediatamente. Se vi piacciono i beat 'em up ultra-tradizionali, questo vi potrà piacere. Personalmente, passo.

Classico sparatutto dalla grafica cubica, con una buona implementazione degli Steam Workshops, ma con un matchmaking ormai molto lento dato dalla mancanza di giocatori. Le modalità non cambiano molto l'una dall'altra, sono le classiche di un qualsiasi FPS. Oramai non consiglio l'acquisto per via del matchmaking.

Acquistato nell'arco di quest'anno ed è inutile dire quello che è già ben risaputo di questo gioco: gameplay semplice, un sacco di variabili che rendono il gioco sempre interessante da esplorare. Assolutamente consigliato.
