As the lone survivor of a passenger jet crash, you find yourself in a mysterious forest battling to stay alive against a society of cannibalistic mutants.

Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator.

Key features


Enter a living, breathing world, where every tree and plant can be chopped down. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.

  • Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving.
  • Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. Lay traps and defences to keep a safe perimeter.
  • Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools. Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy.
  • Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families, morals and that appear almost human.
  • Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones.

Have only played this game with a good friend. However with a friend this game is so fun. Enjoyable. Just like we really were going camping, but with the whole surviving and trying to stay alive from the mutants haha.

Can't imagine what this game is like playing it solo.

Hello, i relly love playing the forest but it is out of stock please as soon as posible put it back i cant play crack anymore it is so borring i want to play with other peapol, and have fun in creative.

Its really a good game I really recommend it, it's better with friends but also does the trick alone. I who finished the game several times the story the fights the bumps the adventure presents the exploration the survival and the construction are there everything to regroup what makes this game an exelent survival game.

Me and my friends are checking EVERY single day since January for the game to be in stock again. Can`t wait for it lol. I hope it will be in stock again when the second part (Sons of the Forest) becomes available.

Since the start of the Russian war it's been hard to get keys for this game.

And with the release of Sons of the Forest, vendores jacked up the prices by alot!

I remenber buying this game for 5€ on Xand now it's stupid expensive like 20€.

This site is still the cheapest, but you have to wait and be ready to buy at any given moment.

So...is the game going to go in stock? I've had the site open on this page and my email open for about 3 weeks now, I'm just confused on if this game is going to be restocked or not. Amazing Game. Sets a standard for open world survival games. Very immersive!
-Running back to basecamp, at night, hungry and tired, so close, but then footsteps and a giggle, chills run up the spine...

It´s super fun! together with someone! it nice to play alone, but the experience is with 2 or more players. expect a little lag for the host, the strongest computer should host the game! the storyline is så interesting that you will be caught in it!

One of my favorite games, i love it. But its very hard to get. There is interesting story and sometimes its scary and that´s what is amazing on it. If you are gamer you need to play this game.

That is probably one of the most attractive open-survival horror games that was ever made. That is one of the must-have "new classics". I hope that it will get some small improvements soon, but it's good anyway. You should really get it!
