Hogwarts Legacy....che dire, un gioco che in moltissimi aspettavano da tanto, per ovvi motivi.

Gioco che ha saputo dare ai fan della saga diverse soddisfazioni, a partire dalla cura nei dettagli nella resa del castello di Hogwarts, per passare a Hogsmeade e altre location famose, mostrate nei film e descritte nei libri.

Bene, fantastico anzi.

Ma la magia finisce lì...dopo le prime ore di gioco in cui si è irrimediabilmente rapiti dall'atmosfera, ci si accorge presto di star guardando a un guscio vuoto, piuttosto che a un prodotto farcito.

NESSUNA delle scelte che si compiono nel gioco ha una qualche conseguenza sul mondo, sulla storia, sui personaggi. Tanto che non si può parlare affatto di scelte, ma di illusione di esse, che è la cosa più brutta che possa essere fatta in un gioco che è pubblicizzato e venduto con il tag "RPG". Questo gioco NON E' UN RPG, bisogna accettare questo fatto o si andrebbe a peccare di disonestà intellettuale.

Prima dell'uscita di questo titolo, innumerevoli voci (più o meno ufficiali) parlavano di poter intraprendere percorsi differenti, scegliere se essere un mago oscuro o buono. BUGIE. Non esiste alcuna caratterizzazione del MC, che risulta essere un robot dalla voce piatta che sta lì ad aiutare tutti, e che per qualche motivo, dopo averli aiutati, può "scegliere" di rispondere in maniera scontrosa, sempre senza cambiare di una VIRGOLA il risultato della missione. Un Mago Oscuro fatto e finito, proprio.

Puoi spammare le 3 Maledizioni quanto vuoi, di fronte a popolani, professori e studenti, e NESSUNO ti dice nulla al riguardo, nessuna conseguenza. Puoi massacrare persone e mostri, nell'ordine delle centinaia, ma è tutto normale per un 15enne.

Potrei continuare per ore, ma non avrebbe molto senso poiché credo di aver fatto capire (almeno a qualcuno, spero) qual è il problema qui: l'attribuzione del gioco al genere RPG. Non vi appartiene. Di conseguenza io mi aspettavo un RPG e non l'ho ricevuto, il che mi ha infastidito parecchio.

Questo gioco è un "adventure" o al massimo "action-adventure". Niente di più, niente di meno.

Magari la prossima volta faranno meglio
